Joan Baez, Matron of Honor at her sister, Mimi Farina's wedding
Joan Baez is Mimi Farina's sister and so served as Matron of Honor at Mimi's wedding to Milan Melvin (the Sweet Sir Galahad in Joan's sony to Mimi), at a dawn ceremony one morning of the Big Sur Folk Festival, 1968. What you don't see in this square cropping is the sheep dog calming ushering Joan down the "aisle" of family and friends assembled for the ceremony. Joan was married to David Harris (who was soon to leave for prison as a conscientious objector to the war in Vietmam) and pregnant at the time.
